Re: Rachow's Nothobranch (Killifish)
Well I've been reading about it, it looks quite complicated. When they say use peat, does that literally mean....like peat we use for garden plants??? Or am I being a melon?

No you are right they mean use real peat. i you do try it try to get some that dont have any chemicals in it. You can also use peat and a substrate or in the filter to lower the ph.

Ok, well it's something to think about. Is there any particular time they spawn or anything you need to do to "get them in the mood" lol

I cant really help there tbph ive never breed or really read that much into breeding them. I think anytime should be fine aslong as there condition well and the water is perfect for them.

The top ones are fundulopanchax Gardneri I have a pair.
The second ones are Nothobranchius Guenther
A few days will be fine. Maby give them lives or frozen before you go though.

Ok cool, was a little worried. I know the bettas will be fine, but wasn't sure about these.
One pair were doing a funny dance earlier, the male was like forcing the female to the floor, & like flerting being close & wrapping his dorsal fin around her, I thought they were trying to mate... Lol
