Erm my elite stingray filter

i have the smallest elite stingray filter in my boys tank and today the water has randomly gone grey and murky has anyone had this happen before?

Is the filter still working? did you clean or move the filter today? Did you add anything new today?

Nothing new, I bought it to replace an old fluval a couple of days ago and installed it water was crystal clear and now its clouded?

Hmmmm what media is inside the filter? sorry ive never used one.

the filter operates with two carbon/zeolite filter cartridges and one foam filter set

TBPH i dont have a clue what it is. If it was something in the tank i would have thought the carbon would have taken it out. I would just do a 75% WC and hope it doesnt come back.

I have a fair few elite stingrays and find them really good and relaible. What I would say is take out the cartridges and chuck them, and put "elite mini" filter sponges in the spaces. The Zeolite removes ammonia... maybe it's sent it into a mini cycle as it takes away the ammonia from the cycled media you have (did you put cycled media in it?)
