Ive been offered 6 for £22 including postage. And considering from a lfs id be looking at around the £10 mark each you can see what i mean about a great deal. These stay alot smaller but are just as aggressive. i think the snakeheads are just edging it as there a fair bit bigger and a bit more colourful and they dont need heaters so i have an excuse for another tank to make up for the energy ive saved by not using a heater hahaha.

main thing is don't second guess your choice!

Someone just sent me an email on 60 or 75gl octagon plexiglass tank but its bare and needs a hole plugged in the bottom where they had sump mounted.
That could be repaired. Its the hood I worry about. I'll have to look around in awhile.

I personally arnt keen at all on shaped thanks i would prefer a rectangle tank any day because it think there alot easier to stock and clean. The hole cold be easily plugged with some silicone and glass or perspex. You could make a lid fairly easy just need to be accurate with the measuring. evan just a bit of perspex cut to the size of the tank would work. then just chop a corner out for wires and and get some of those light fittings that you can silicon on ad job done lol.

We've had six emails and I'm already losing interest. More than I feel like dealig with at this time.Whatever the materials cost, the effort, and still need a large heater and filter. Nah. It could be divided though! Still nah!

From what youve been saying about other full set ups on there i think its worth waiting a bit longer and trying to get a nice one that doesnt need loads of work.

Well i think ive sorted out what im going to do. Im going to sell/give away all my fish. apart from the apisto and the BNs which will be going into the breeding rack. And then get 6 snakheads in the 30G and wait for 2 to pair and get the 6 dwarf pike to go in the 21G and wait for them to pair up.

good luck with that kizno!

F. Banks- i have a 2g hex tank for my hosp tank, it came with the UG filter too. i took it out and made a small sponge filter for it. you keep it in another tank running untill you need it that way it is cycled and when you dont need it it helps out in whatever tank you put it in. it has been working great for me!

You can make them out of old fish food tubs ive use them with fry before. Or you can just buy them fairly cheap. ive got a little corner one that works well.

F. Banks- no problem! glad i could help Very Happy

kiz- i saw it did you? that fish was massive!!! the only thing that suprised me with the show was just how much you saw of his guide, not meaning the length of time he was there, but the lack of censoring at all!!!!!!! i watched it with my oldest son and was shocked that i could see it all! Shocked thank goodness he never even noticed!
that is a really pretty fish too, i like the blue in the fins a lot.

ARGH I complete forgot about it. There will probably be a repeat on soon and ill make sure to watch the rest although im not sure i want to if the guide is that on show in the others lol. What did they catch? arapima? There one fish i would love to catch. Did you see the one about them on river monsters? they think one of them jumped out the water and headbutted someone and killled them.

hehe it was a native guide, so hopefully he wont be in the others!! thank goodness they tried to keep the front view in the background but still, you can see just not in close detail. yep he got an arapima, it was over 200 pounds!! and 10 ft. i cant remember the exact weight, sorry. i did see the river monsters one too. i love that show! they mention the jumping out and knocking poeple over in the new show too.

Haha you shouldnt have been paying attention to them areas if you didnt want to see it lol
I saw the trailer where they caught it but i didnt notice the guide lol
That must hurt if that hit you. They have a huge head and the speed they jump. On river monsters where he was in the little pool trying to net them and they where jumping over him Shocked i wouldnt like to try that. If i could catch 1 fish it would have to be these they look amazing.
