You May Be Familiar With...

Post by 2tall on Sat Jul 10, 2010 6:21 am

I started to poke around for filters last night and came across this manufacturer called Aquaripure. Maybe you are already familiar with their product I don't know. But I thought I'd pass it on anyway for others that weren't
aware of this unit. I probably should claim a disclaimer as I don't if it works or not. I did like what I read and hope its feasible and valid. Anyone with a fair knowledge of filtration should look it over and give an opinion!

Thanks for taking a look and your responses are requested!

The link isnt working for me. The only problem with newer not big branded filters is how easy is it going to be to get spare parts. But then again if its cheap enough you could just buy a brand new filter rather than spares.

I'm sorry about that folks. Like I've said before I'm computer illiterate! The link doesn't work for me either! I'll ask my roommate what I did wrong. I just typed the address in the browser and it did work for me. I didn't say anything about cheap though. The smallest one is $160 or roughly 105lb. UK. They claim you don't have to change the filter and you maintain by injecting sugar water in
once a week. Pretty much maintains stats at zero if I recall correctly.
If you wish to humor me, try the browser: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] htm

I pasted and it worked!

It sounds good but whether it actually work how it says or not is another thing and i wouldnt want to risk it not working for that kind of money.

{ always remain skeptical even with positive testimonials. One thing I like is the claim it halts algae. I must have an issue with algae!LOL

I wasn't suggesting that a person go and buy individual filters for each tank at that price! I was thinking of the person with multiple tanks. Might save lots of time and labor as advertised.
