Do i need to soak them before placing them in my tank also? As those barcodes are stuck on well!

I would soak them in shallow water with the label down so you can continue to cure the sealant. Vinegar should assist in the removal of any glue residue.

I wish the products were as tough as the glue!

The glue should dry between 1-2 days really. It wont smell as strong ones its dried out if it smells quite strong then it will still be curing.
