You can see where I took the pipe over the top of the dividers and extended the bar making it easier to filter the whole tank
I'll get some pics of my divided korall later for you too.

That looks amazing. Is the centre part for the females or just a priviledged male?

Thanks so much Haych and Kizno for posting your pics too, it's all so helpful :-D
Haych your tank is beautiful, I love the decos so much. Can you explain exactly how your tank filters, so I can put it with the pics and let my brain work it out properly? It's brilliant how your girls are in the middle of the tank, how many litres is that tank?

Re: For Jessie and Nataliey - divided tank
thanks guys. I did have two but when I had the water board issues that killed 24 bettas off I closed them down and sold them.
I now have a couple of smaller tanks and thats it.
These tanks were 180l tanks, giving the males 6.98us g or 5.81uk g an the females 12uk g or 14.38 us g
the filter was only slightly adapted, it had the usual intake bar in the left section and the out-take bar was extended with extra hosing and ran along the top of the brace bar to save me having to cut out too much of the dividers.Where the pipe went over the brace bar I sealed the holes with silicone so that it stopped the water getting into the light.
As the out-take pipe is usually on a 45 degree angle I used the soft hosing to make it flex easier.
Hope this helps

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the cute kitty dozing on the tank in two of the pics. So cute. That's seems to be a favorite nap spot
