Cheers
If you cant get any at you lfs theres normally some on ebay most of them are either pairs or 5 young unsexed ones which ill probably be best because then 2 will pair naturally and then you can sell the rest.
Theses a few different types of wild caught ones which ive had my eye on but i gutted ive got no room until i can get a bigger tank.

I bet! Think they do look awesome! May even move the DPs into the 10G in a few months to get some and maybe a pair of rams?

i wouldnt put rams and apisto together in a 60L or there will be alot of fighting. In a 60l you could get trio of apisto so
3 apisto 1male 2 female
6 small shoaling fish
6 marble hatchets

Sort of in that they are both south american dwarf cichlids. What typpe of ram are you talking about? bolivian rams do great with apisto aslong as the tank is big enough but german blue, gold and electric blue rams all need a temp of between 28 and 32C which apisto wont like.

They would make good tankmates but IMO 60l is to small for both of them the males really wont get on.
You could use the 10G for 2 maybe 3 at a push dwarf puffer
and then the 60l for a pair/trio of dwarf cichlids and a few other fish.

Oops yeah that's what I meant lol. Right thinking about picking up some swordtails, possibly guppies and some small shoaler. Then in two weeks time get a pair of rams when my tank is more mature? Then think about setting my 10g up in future for some DPs.

If you add some of the filter media from a tank you already have running then it will be fine to stock straight away. The tanks to small for swords IMO and guppies might get nipped. Platys or endlers would be a better options
something like
2 rams
6 small shoaling fish
3 platys 1 male 2 females or 6 endlers 2 males 4 female

Endlers are fairly common. There like guppies but brighter and without the long tail. You might not get many fry survive from the platys or endlers as the rams are likely to eat most if not all of them.
