4 Panda corys and a betta in a 35ltr? Suitable?
Would these two go together ok in the space available? I may have a possible new purchase coming up :D
Also, what's the best way to keep filter media alive during transport? The seller has one panda cory, could I put it in a bag of tank water with the filter for the journey? (approx. 40 mins) I thought I could buy it 3 friends and then get my betta.

Tanks to small for pandas imo. Pandas are to active for a 35l i wouldnt put them in anything under 45l/10ukg. 6pygmy corys should work though. The media should be fine in a bag of tank water for 40 mins.

Yh you might get away with 5 neons. In a 35l with a betta you could have pygmy corys, galaxy rasbora, ember tetra, cherry shrimp, ADF, snails. you couldnt have them all but any of them will work.

They only get to 1" long and dont make much waste. I think 6 galaxy rasbora plus some cherry shrimp should work. Make sure you have a back up plan because not all bettas do well with other fish. If you can find galaxy rasbora they are quite expensive there between £3-5 in my LFSs

Blimey that's a lot for a little fish! Depending on which tank I get I might just stick with a lone betta for now. Do the cherry shrimp make a positive impact on the cleanliness of the tank?

They will eat any scraps that fall to the bottom. It may look like quite a bit but cherrys and galaxy rasbora get to under 1" and make very little waste.
