betta covet!
I just happen to have a spare section in my barracks, so I'm just looking around for ideas as I don't have the money right now. I decided to check on AquaBid and I found THIS!

I noticed him also. He sure is striking! I like going to Aquabid and ogle the stock. There are some great looking ones! It gives me ideas what to keep my eyes out for.

I don't think I'll ever be able to afford buying one from thailand or whatever. The shipping costs are SO high. I emailed the local transshipper and he charges a fee per fish and then a handling fee plus the shipping cost. But he's so pretty. I've never found a fish like that here!

Its not the cost(although I'm poor at the moment) so much that bothers me. Its the idea of the poor little ones being bagged and bounce around for days.
It has to be a rough ride and traumatic I'd assume.

LOL, I know I'm slow in posting, I just feel like I'm jinxing it if I post pics right away! I'm very pessimistic when it comes to fish at the mo, I've lost all my confidence since Sunny. The lighting in the fishroom is much better for pics at night, so I'll try and take some better ones tonight :-D
Re Aquabid costs: I paid US$60 (UK£39) for a pair of dragon OHMRT's including shipping costs to the transhipper in the UK. and then I paid a further US$28 (UK£18.50) from the transhipper to me (was more expensive for two fish). So it was quite expensive for two fish, but I could've done it all for one nice fish for less than half the cost as I've seen some lovely fish on there starting at $10. I just couldn't help myself, and I wanted to try Aquabid at least once. It's so hard to resist!!! :-D
