No place for a betta!!
Looking on ebay as i do on a regular occasion and saw these stupid things apparently for bettas! I wouldnt house a betta in this with the actual bowl only 5" high and 5" wide. What a silly idea!!

A totally useless product. Ugly to the eyes and an insult to the fish. When are people like them going to understand that bettas need more space! Burns me up.

I don't understand why someone would go through the trouble of designing one like that, let alone go into production. I just don't get it!

Did a quick calculation and the volume is roughly just over a litre. Not suitable for anything to live in.
Re: No place for a betta!!
Oh I've seen worse. It's like a flat glass BLOCK about 8"high x 8"wide and only 1-2" thick. It was litteraly maybe 1-2 cups of water....HORRIBLE. And it CAME WITH the betta! Not even room for a small plant or gravel or anything!

When we were at the LFS yesterday I was bemoaning the bowls they have there - rubbish plastic bucket shaped things that hold maybe three litres at most, which had stickers on proclaiming them to be 'ideal for all types of freshwater fish'. Grrr!
Re: No place for a betta!!
Theres alot worse out there. The fishpod is terribel. My lfs sell little plastic tubs with 1 LED for a light and they honestly cant hold more than 500ml they litrally are 10cmx10x10

Where they like in a hex shape? as my lfs where selling 3 diamond shaped tubs that held about a pint of water if that with the blue LED in it, i even said to the lady who was helping me that its so cruel (thought i may have put my foot in it, lol!!) all she said was i know but its what the boss says goes!! They where selling 3 of the diamond tubs that fix together to make a hex with 3 male CTs in each section for £30. I think iv seen them or something similar on ebay.

Thats terrible. The ones my LFS sell are almost square.
Its these there 1.3L but by the time you add decorations, substrate, the fish and a gap at the top it will be ALOT less

Smaller than that
Thats terrible and the advertising on the front is they have made the bettas look tiny so it looks like theres more room and theres a clown fish in there.
