31L tank, possible to add more fish?
I wonder if i can add 5 cloud minows to my 31L (brute) tank, cycled, planted with 8 pigmy corys (hastatus) and my betta. I ask in terms of space... Im aware of filtering, temperature, pH and such.
All variables are extremely stable on my tank just not sure if there will be enough room for the new fish.
Here is a pic: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Thanks all!

IMO no because WCMM need lower temps about 18-22C and wont do well at the 27-29c bettas need and because there very active and need a bigger tank than a 31l.
But you could have
6 ember tetra
6 galaxy rasbora
more pygmy corys
6 cherry shrimp
1 apple snail

I'd definitely recommend apple snails :D They're much more exciting than they sound.

Hmm,
Loved the galxies but it seems they are quite rare over here and IF found, expensive... Sigh...
Ember tetras i think its a possibility tho i dont fancy them much.
More pigmy corys lacks diversity, they are lovely but is enough haha.
Cherry Shrimp is expensive too and there is a chance the betta will snack on them dont you think?
Apple Snails POOP too much lol, i've had them, they are fun but can pull your plants from gravel and that drives me nuts!
I've read that ppl have successfuly kept the cloud minows at 26ºC and that was my idea. They are already sold over here at that temperature, so i thought i would be all good.
My oh my...

I've never had that problem with my Apple Snails :P
It's interesting to know how species can adapt to different conditions depending on where they're bred. I wouldn't like to say, but seeing as you're from Brazil, 26C would be around room temp? and the wcmms may have adapted to this temp? Let someone confirm this though :P

Thats the only problem with galaxys they are great looking but expensive. I cant really think of much else if im honest.
Just because they can live at that temp doesnt mean they can thrive in it and it will shorted there life span alot. Evan if they where alright at that temp they still wouldnt work because they are extremely active and a 31l just doesnt give them enough room plus they are from faster flowing waters than a betta will be comfortable in.

I have to admit i had one on sand ones and they do make a ridiculous amount of waste i think its just you dont notice it as much on gravel.
