Re: Angels
Sounds like they are establishing their pecking order! I've always like Angelfish of all varieties. The tank looks nice too!
I went into the lfs about a week ago and they had a mated pair with new fry. The fry were about the size of gnats! Actually I'm going to be in the neighborhood later today so I'll stop by for a look just for grins.

Re: Angels
Nice mate.
If you look at the hump like i was saying yesterday the one below the FTS the lighter one looks male the last one looks female and the one in the middle could be a late developing male because the other males more dominant or it could be a female with just a slight hump. But you defiantly have 1 male and 1 female so could get some fry.

Re: Angels
haha
Full tank shot.
The one with the light strips looks male.
The black one looks female.
and the one with darker strips could be a late developing male or it could be a female that has a slight hump.
So you definatly have 1 male 1 female and then one not sure.

Re: Angels
which one is the smallest?
The smallest one quite often gets picked on by the bigger ones so thats will be why is hiding a little more.

Re: Angels
I would say that could be a male then. If its smaller the bigger male could be picking on it a little and because theres already a alpha male he wont develop as big a hump as quick so that could be why it just has a little hump. But im not 100% sure its male haha

Re: Angels
How big is the tank?
Just a word of warning ones the angels get bigger the neons could start to disappear and watch out for the red tailed shark they get a very aggressive when mature.
What plec is it?

Re: Angels
Its about 4ft mate, all neons are fully grown and it is a common plec. I know these grow big, and i swap them over for a smaller one with my LFS
