My South American Puffers, actually. ;)
I finally got some, 4 of them!
They were a 1.5 hours drive away but so worth it. I'm in love!
I took the camera out to get some pics thinking it would be easy. No chance, they're such speedy wee buggers.
While I was chatting to the fella he showed me some spotted puffers too. Bad idea!!! I want.
The tank isn't looking how I want it to but I knew it would be a work in progress. I'll continue to pick some stuff up over the weekend and next week.
Anyways, apologies for the rubbish photo quality!

Stunning but sorry to tell you this but i dont think there DP. Not sure what they are but they dont look like them to me. Dwarf puffers are normally a yellow colour with black spots or grey for females.

I'm sure Lou will be along sometime soon and let me know. I'm not too concerned because the lad said he would take them back. So if they turn out to not be DPs then he can have them back regardless. If it was a LPS around here I'd be worried because they don't take anything back.

They look exactly like the other DPs that mam had home that time. I know that means nothing but that's what I'm drawing my comparison on.

I think they might be south american puffer/Colomesus Asellus. They get to about 10cm and need to be kept in a tank 20G+ but they do well in groups so 3-4 would work in a 20-30G.

Well my tank is a 15g so they would do ok in it for now if that were the case.

The more I look at them, the more I think you're right. I don't care though, I'm in love.

Im pretty sure they are SAPs. Both types are stunning. The good thing about SAPs is if you go for a big enough tank there one of the few puffers that will actually work well with other fish aslong as they are fast moving and have short fins.

I have a dilemma now though. I don't have the extra money with Xmas coming up to buy another tank, especially after just buying this new one. So, do I return 1 of the puffers so that the other 3 are comfy in the 64l?

I think it will be best to ask SR that. from what ive ready they need atleast 20G whether its for 1 or 3 they just need enough for swimming space.

Thats going to be quite tight for them IMO. You might get away with it if the tank is really heavily planted.
