Crazy prices

Was in an LFS (not my fave) earlier and saw they had some nice bettas in. Amongst them were what they had labelled as "Funky Bettas" for £25. After peering into the tank I was very confused as the supposed funky betta is a green/white marble VT Suspect a VT for £25???? you have to be kidding me!

Shocking! At least you know whoever buys him is going to look after him, at that price! Though nobody who knows anything about bettas would actually pay that.

Typical shop marketing scam........they make out something is more than what it seems to increase profits. I bet they bought them in for around 75 pence Mad

Ridiculous isn't it. I've not seen this in shops here but have seen VTs on ebay for stupid prices and people making out they are rare colours.

It's so stupid! I questioned the bloke and he said "well they came in as funky bettas so we have to sell them at that price" haha so he probably payed way over the odds for them, thinking he was getting something nice and rare and he got VT's. They were pretty though

He also tried to get me to believe that delta's were "really rare" Rolling Eyes like hello, stop talking to me!!!

fsh. the most expensive betta my lps sells, is dragons. doesn't matter the tail-type, they're always about $15. and, they're always red and silver. .__.
