What to do!

Currently I have a 60L with a few platties and some black neons. Very boring and makes me want to change it a lot. My bedroom is being completely re-decorated and what a better time to give my fish away and completely re-start the tank. I have some ideas and have various fish I'd love to keep.
Community Idea 1 (planted) - Various Male guppies (pure strains, no mongrels), shrimp sp, Cories or Ottos.
Community idea 2 (planted) - Apisto sp (pair), Cardinals, cories/otto
Species - Dwarf puffers
Or i'd love guppies, apisto, shrimp, cories, possible?

Then set-up a cool little 20L for an amazing betta Very Happy

I would go for puffers, or the apisto set up, so what tail type betta are you gonna buy?

I do like the puffers, as they can only be kept in a species only and can't have many tanks bothers me. It's sooooo hard picking out stocking!!

If you went for DP you could have about 4 (1male 3females). I would go for a micro community tank with
3 Hara jerdoni
8 galaxy rasbora
3 badis (1m 2f)
4 steel blue killis (1m 3f)
