predatory fish for a ten gallon?
I am upgrading my fish and will have an empty ten gallon. SO i was wondering if there were any small predatory fish I could keep in it. I am also breeding guppies so anything that will eat guppy fry is great

I cant think of anything thats small enough to go in a 10G. If it was 20G a African leaf fish would work. There not really predatory but what about Dwarf puffers.

Or you might get away with 1 male Golden panchax. They look stunning when mature and will take Guppy fry in a snap. Or 1 male and 2 female Wrestling Halfbeaks.

I think instead of turning it into a predatory tank I am just going to return the guppies and get two honey gourami's and two African dwarf frogs. According to aqadvisor this would work fine and I did some research and It seems that honey gourami's are much more laid back than other gourami's.

I personally would go for 1 honey gourami. The males can harras the females quite a bit so its best to keep them in a trio of 1 male 2 females which will be to much for a 10G IMO. What about sparkling gouramis you could have 3-5.

There's no way to get ahold of sparkling gourami's around here. And what if I manage to get two females? Would that be ok?
And I LOVE ADF's but would they be perfectly safe in with the gourami's? I want to make sure.

Two females should work but there not really that colourful but its up to you.
I wouldnt think there would be any problems but the ADFs might need spot feeding so they get enough food.

That's fine
I'll look into how to properly feed them and what to feed them before I get them
they are worth the extra effort
