I love the chalice type cup, where did you get it. Makes a nice colour co-ord with the gravel.

If it's variegated, it's not aquatic. Those three down the front are bamboo, and the back left is a japonica. Are they still in there or starting to rot yet? I hate it when shops sell marginals as aquatics... it's a hangover from when people kept huge goldfish and didn't bother to cycle their tanks, as the plants were just for decoration and were just replaced as they rotted or were eaten. In general, anything with a bright red or purple colour is not fully aquatic either.

Would love to see an updated pic, hope things are going well with it!

Love your set up Nataliey. I decided to use some indoor plants for my fish tanks as I never seem to be able to keep the aquatic plants in good condition. They look good when first introduced but go scagged after a while. I found the variegated grass which looks like it in the background of your tank, found that handling very well in my tanks. Its starting to grow above the water line. Another good plant that seems to keep well is the sacred lilly. I've had these plants in for over a month now and they seem to like it, not showing any signs of rotting. I've even seen ferns used, haven't tried them yet. Smile
