What A Great Looking Pleco!

Post by 2tall on Sat Jan 08, 2011 1:13 am

I saw my first Gold Seam Pleco in person today. About 4"(8cm) long. Wish I could have gotten it. Sad

Hmm never heard of a plec called that before.
Could have been a Gold-trim Panaque/Panaque titan

or Golden Line Royal Pleco/Panaque armbruster
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

or maybe Sunshine Pleco or Goldie Pleco / Scobinancistrus aureatus
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

or Peckoltia sp. (L099)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

or 1 of the 3 types of golden nugget plec

Pleco is short for plecostomus which is a type of catfish. They are sometimes
referred to as a sucker fish because of their mouths which give them the
ability to stick to the side of the glass and other objects.
