Phone call

Maidenhead Aquatics rang me this morning to say the pair of dragons i ordered have arrived and gone through quarentine and are ready for me! But as i told the lady im unable to pick them up until the weekend of the 29th of this month due to travel arrangements (i dont drive my o/h does but not here until then!)

So they are saving them for me, my o/h said they can be bought for my 30th birthday which is on the 27th January, im very excited as i told MH that i wanted any colour any tail type but i wanted a breeding pair...cant wait to see them...roll on my birthday, lol!!

Im kinda glad i have to wait as the last male they got for me from Indonesia sadly died at their shop during the quarentine period so i see it the longer they have them if anything happens to them i wouldnt have paid all that money like the 2 platinums i bought...also i dont want to turn 30! LOL!

And where does that leave me? Oh yeah, weathered and wrinkled for over
a quarter century. You won't understand this for awhile but I refer to it as

Thats great news. Not fancy a walk to collect them? lol. The one thing i would check though is they havent got them housed together because being a breeding pair they might think its alright to do it. What colour and tail type are they?

Errrr...no, im not dragging the kids out for at least a 10 miles away from my house, they moan when i have to walk into wigan and thats about 20 mins walk!

No idea what tail type/colour they are want it to be a suprise when i go...all i know is that they are dragons as i asked for, lol! My MH are usually quite good at separating them...although my last to males where kept together at the shop!

It would be good if you did live closer we could go betta shopping together, lol!!

that's exciting! :3 you're so lucky. xD last thing i ordered from my local pet store was "could you try to get extra females in next week?" xD and, they did. :3 and, i got my Caroline friday because of that. :d

how is it ordering from a pet shop hun i have 2 down this way who will import or order in but im a little cautous on price?

It really depends on how easy it is for the shop to get them and who and where they get them from. My MH now orders them from a different breeder from Indonesia where as earlier last year i ordered bettas and as it wasnt as easy to get them they where charging so much money for them. I orginally ordered a platinum white hm male and they said it would cost me £30! which i was willing to pay if he was of standards...i didnt have to buy him if i didnt like him so to speak (sounds mean)

But now they only charged me £12 for a platinum white hmpk which is less than half they where charging, this is as i said above different breeder and so on...

You need to ask your shop about it before you order anything...do you have a maidenhead aquatics near you? If so you should ask there first.

your having really bad luck at the mo with your fish iv got my fingers crossed things will start to look up.

im hoping these ones last as my other imports from there died of dropsy
