I have a sad. :(

So I came home from work and another puffer was dead. I don't know whats happening to them. They're perfectly fine one minute and dead the next. I'm on top of my water changes. They're looking 100% healthy up until the point I find them dead. Tested water and its ok too. So frustrated. Sad

I am so sorry...I have only ever had one puff and I loved his little puppy face. Mine was fine when I went to work in the morning he was munching on a water snail. When I came home lunch time he was gone! I quizzed husband as to whether he had been using sprays but he promised he hadn't! I never had any more...so sorry xx

Sorry to hear, Have you tested the water? No bite marks or anything? seems weird they have lasted this long and then died.

Kiz, whenever I lose a fish I always check it over afterwards to see if I missed something. Each time they've been fine one minute and gone the next. There are no marks, no signs of fungus etc. - nothing.

all the puffers ive seen of late have been mutated and sickly looking possibly a big batch of sickly puffs?

I don't think so Pixie. These lads were healthy. Perfect wee bodies, not a mark on them, amazing appetites. I don't know....
