A change in colour

Post by Nataliey on Sun Feb 13, 2011 9:01 pm

Iv had Asia almost a year now and when i bought him Daz (the breeder) said he was a Copper HMPK, looking at him he looked silver!

Here he is before:

My Delta decided he wanted to add a little colour on his own.

He has a pure flesh toned body that is real light and whitish fins .He only had a pastel blue type pattern in his caudal. Now hes decided its "in" to have some red in his dorsal. I still like him and all is forgiven! lol!

Dont get me wrong i do still like Asia, but his colour needs to be gotten used to! He's still the same curious little betta, my intial intension was for breeding purposes with a similar coloured lady but we'll see not sure right now and he's never ever blown me a bubblenest!

I wasn't implying you still didn't like Asia. It was a remark made in my behalf!

What a gorgeous fish, both "then" and "now". Several of my bettas have changed color a bit too over time. I wonder why that happens.
