want to move endlers?

hey everyone, I am planning to replace the endlers I currently have in a 7 gallon tank with some african dwarf frogs (i know the two species are compatible in that tank but I'd prefer just to have the frogs)and I was wondering whether I could add them to my 65 litre tank. The current stocking of the tank is: 6 harlequin rasbora, 6 zebra danios and about 6 amano shrimp.

They should be fine, no problem with stocking density as they are all slim bodied fish who will not add huge amounts to the bioload. The only thing I'd watch for is the rasbora and danios being nippy with their new tankmates, what with the endlers being smaller.

thanks for the reply. How do you think I could prevent the other fish nibbling the endlers?

It's just something to watch for over the first few days as danios can be quite territorial when it comes to swimming at the top of the tank, if there is any nipping it'll soon settle down as the endlers learn their place in the pecking order.

You may not get any nipping at all, and if you do small fish like endlers tend to grow back the fins within a week or two given clean water so don't worry too much Smile

if you see it happening just chase the offender round for a few seconds with a net or spoon and they'll back off.
