I'M THINKINK OF PUTTING MY MALE BETTA IN A TANK WITH TETRAS AND MOLLIES GOOD OR NOT GOOD IDEA

I'm not positive, but I don't thik the Mollies are good, Some tetras maybe.

The tetras will nip at his fins and he may torture the mollies that tank is too small to add him successfully. I'm sorry Sad

i personally would have just the 1 type of shoaling fish and have 6 of them rather than odd ones.

are the catfish Cories at all?

I agree your tank is overstocked You may want to upgrade the fish in the ten t a twenty and give your boy the ten if thats at all possible

I keep one of my male bettas with 9 rummynoses and 5 lampeyes they all get along great my tank size is a 95 litre...theres no nipping at each other at all.

More than anything, I think it depends on the personality of the betta. I've seen bettas in with tetras many times. I tried to put Sweeney in with a few neon tetras in a 10 Gal. tank. He went after them immediately. He was nipping at them too much and I had to move him back out of there. I have him in a 5 Gal. now and will be adding more peaceful fish with my tetras.

Yes we had some neon tetras in with my first ever male betta he was very aggressive to them he would chase them and attack them then eat there eyes...so it depends on the actual betta in my opinion.
