water flow on severums?

water flow on severums?
hi all,
can anyone help me here,
i seem to remember reading somewhere that severums
dont like fast flow water abit like betta`s,
therefore would it be a good idea to put a spray bar
on my filter?
if this is wrong please let me know as you will save me money too! :cheers:
only ive had a look at all ive read on them and cant find it so
thinking have i got it wrong could have been for the betta`s
as im doing 2 new tanks one betta and my sev`s
thanks for any advice here always appreciated

Hi
Although I've not had these fish, i cant see anything refering to filter flow anywhere only they need the same basic care as other Cichlids. I believe they are intollerant of high nitrAtes.
Hopefully Brookfish will see the thread as he's a Cichlid guy:)

Lol....that's what I thought too Tropical Girl. I'm hoping to get a tank set up for some shortly and Brookfish will be an invaluable help!!!
