the whole time I had livebearers no fry ever made it unless I fished them out and grew them in another tank.

it would of been the stress of moving causing her to give birth prematurely, the fry would of had little chance

Awww, poor little babies...we have 7 female mollies and when we first bought them we had orange babies...only 9 survived from being eaten but i fished them out and mothered them! Now we have 5 of the 8 left doing well back in the tank with their parents.
Mollies dont half breed like rabbits though!!
