Hello
Hello all,
I have been in this hobby for a very long time 30 plus years more or less, I have 7 natural planted tanks from 75g to 1g. I have 1 non planted with marbled crayfish and 2 ponds outside and goldfish tub in the house, 250g tank outside for growout in the summer.
I have been spawning Betta splendens for about 5 or 6 years now, working on a color, trying to get white body with layered fins in red/blue, getting close. I just tied an experiment with keeping a pair in a heavy planted 10g to get multi spawns and it worked great, I now have 3 tanks full of fry growing out.
I believe in prevention with good husbandry practices and rarely do I use any OTC medications I try to stay as natural as I can. using garlic, aquarium salts, epsom salt, IAL and most important water changes.
Excited to meet everyone.
Brenda
