Finally showing my spawning tank

Post by pippoodle on Sun Aug 02, 2009 10:50 pm

Here's my spawning tank - the level has been raised now as there are babies in there - it's a 60 litre divided tank
Have left the pond snails in there that i've been breeding for mother in laws pond to help as clean up crew
All stats are perfect as tank has been set up and running for 3 years - started off as my coldwater tank - then went to kids tank and so on lol

It's a bit well planted lol - so cant see all the babies - plants were trimmed and moved 4 weeks ago they've been going nuts and i cant remove them due to the babies being in there but babies love them and are thriving in there .
Wanting to clear the indian almond leaf litter off the sand but cant lol

temp is 28-30 degrees
stats ammonia 0 , nitrites 0 , nitrates 5-10 , ph 6.8-7.0
Smile cheers sarah

most prob didnt need it

also putting some larger food in there for the bigger babies
