Well hello there..

Well hello there..
I'd be Ajay, I am 24 and currently living just ouside Milton Keynes while I have my dream job as a (unfortunately seasonal) keeper at a zoo nearby [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I have kept betta in the past but after losing my last one while at uni' I just couldn't replace him.. I'm missing the fishy company now!
I currently have 15 animals in my home zoo (1 border collie - my partner in crime!, 3 purebred moggie cats, 1 lop rabbit, 4 various fantailed goldfish, 1 leopard gecko and 5 tortoises, my babies! - horsfield, 2 hermanns and 2 redfoots)
I've had a good look round and so far don't think I did anything terribly wrong though the poor thing must have had an interesting start as I had neverheard of this fishless cycling.. I am better informed now and if someone can explain adequate filters to me I may be purchasing a tank very soon...
So hi all [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] all information gratefully received (and I want to steal all your fish so far [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] )

I hope you don't my saying but I've had a good look round in the last 24hrs and this is one of the most informative (and least bitchy!) forums I've ever seen. Good job Netty & Van! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Thank you so much for your kind comments Ajay
But credit needs to go to our great members and our mod team. We are very fortunate to have a great community here. We're trying to build as we go along and adding more sections so there's a place for everyone
